Church of Our Lady Meissen

Stunning views can be enjoyed from the top of the tower of the late Gothic Saxon hall church (Hallenkirche) built in 1205. Inside the church is the world’s first functioning porcelain carillon (since 1929) comprising 37 bells made of Meißen porcelain. This was created by Professor Paul Börner,
Artistic Director of Meissen Porcelain.

Tower open                          10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

and 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Closed Monday and Wednesday
