schattenvögel theatre company

theater compagnie schattenvögel was founded by the actor and director Peter H. Jährling
together with the actress and singer Marijke Jährling in 2005. This artistic production cooperation was founded to research and develop the received pronunciation of poetic realism* (Poetischer Realismus).

Since 2007 performances have been staged in the Saal der Goldenen Krone in Darmstadt. It is here that they chose to establish a professional theatre group with actors from the Rhine-Main region performing their repertoire on a fixed schedule. Visitors can expect an evening of varied and exciting entertainment.
